Victorian Times Estate Liquidators helped with my elderly mother’s house in June 2020, when we were just coming out of the Coronavirus shelter-in-place. Michel and Danielle are wonderful people! They did a great job on the estate sale and in doing it safely with all the new virus protocols. Their vast connections in the estate-sale world enabled success. My husband was asked to be the executor of the estate of a friend of ours. When she passed, there was so much to do. Most of all, there was a house full of years of living and traveling and collecting. It was overwhelming to us. We knew Michelle and her family from attending their estate sales. We called, they came! They cleaned and organized and found treasures hidden in the oddest places. We had no idea there were so many things of value in the house. They did a tremendous job of arranging the treasures, then adversiting and selling them. We were incredibly pleased with the results – way above and beyond what we expected! Simply Amazing! Michele and her daughter Danielle are wonderful to work with. My mother passed away in March. My mom had so much stuff it was overwhelming to think about selling all of it. Michele came and took care of everything. We live out of state so finding someone we could trust was important. Michele took pictures of the staging of the home and kept us informed of everything that was happening. The staging of my mother’s home was so beautiful and professional. This is an honest business and these are good, people to work with. I recommend them without hesitation.

We recently completed the difficult task of getting rid of many items that had so many personal memories attached. I say difficult because there were items that had been in the family for many years that the thought of parting with them was almost crippling. We could tell right away that we could not do what we knew had to be done by ourselves. This is where Michel and her family come in. We left it all in their hands. They effectively organized, catalogued, researched and arranged each and every item we had. They are kind, caring and totally professional. They went the extra mile to insure all items were offered at a fair price and that the items that didn’t sell right away were available online. When the sale was over, the house was clean, the sale items were categorized and the checks were issued in a timely manner. What more could you ask for? After our father’s passing last September, my brothers and I were overwhelmed with the amount of personal possessions that he had collected over the years. After dividing up the items that we wanted to keep in the family, we investigated several options for addressing the remaining items. We met with several estate liquidators and selected Victorian Tymes because of their personal approach, friendly manner, fair financial structure, and outstanding references. After we signed their agreement and gave them access to the house, Michel and her team took care of everything from preparing the items to conducting the sale to having the house cleaned out after the sale and finally, sending us a summary letter with our share of the sale proceeds. All throughout the process, Michel kept us updated and put aside several personal items that we had left behind. They were wonderful to work with and I highly recommend their service.

She also had an exceptional line of costume jewelry as well as some gold pieces. Michel and her family are true professionals as well as a family business. We had an unusual sale in that my husband and I are both artists in the home decor industry and had accumulated product samples over the years that were taking over our home. Michel and her family stepped in to help us reclaim our space. They created a “store” in our backyard with white party tents, tables and display racks. They went through every item, priced it, cleaned it, merchandised it, and sold it. It was a tremendous amount of work, but they did it cheerfully and cleaned up afterwards. We now have our space back and money for some renovation work. They are a joy to work with as well as an inspiring, hard working family and we recommend them highly–they will get the job done!

We can’t say enough good things about Michel and her team. We moved my father in law into assisted living in May of 2013. We had no idea where to start but slowly started going through his belongings. Because we lived out of the area, it was slow going to say the least. We were referred to Michel and could not have been happier with the results. She took care of everything, including the disposal of items that did not sell. I was able to drive down and see she and her team in action and was amazed at the presentation. There were items that I would have just thrown away or given away, but they had cleaned everything up and their presentation was amazing. We didn’t have to do anything and the end result was that my father in law received much more for his items then we would have imagined and it was completely turn key. Hiring Victorian Times was one of the best decisions I made as the executor of an estate that included a 3 three bedroom 2 story townhouse. I was overwhelmed at first but when Michel took over they handled everything, from organizing all the rooms to pricing the items. There were only bare walls after it was all done! Because of their contact in the antiques industry, they found buyers we never knew existed. Thanks to the Victorian Times efforts, we grossed 4 times more than our highest estimate going in.
